Infertility Support
Providing Individual, Couples and Group

Infertility can be a life changing, overwhelming and isolating experience that is filled with loss of control, uncertainty, vulnerability, grief, fear and anger. Support individually, and/or as a couple and/or in a group provides an understanding, a space to address the complex feelings that arise: whether navigating medical treatments, diagnosis, financial strain and facing difficult decisions about family building.

Individuals can explore personal emotions, identity challenges and issues related to their journey. Couples can explore their communication, deepen their understanding and compassion for one another, and work through the stress that Infertility can place on their relationship. Finally, group support offers connections, that helps reduce isolation and foster a community.

Grief &
Loss

Grief and Loss in the context of Infertility and Reproductive trauma are profound, often complex and deeply personal experiences. These losses extend beyond an absence of a child- they touch our hopes, dreams and expectations of the future.

This kind of grief can be isolating and overwhelming. It may bring waves of sadness, guilt, anger, and a sense of body betrayal. Because society does not always recognize these losses, many individuals and couples carry this grief silently.

Healing does not mean forgetting or " moving on"- it means finding ways to honor what you have lost, and learning to live with your feelings and gently rebuild a form of hope. With compassionate support and safe spaces for expressions it is possible to find a meaningful path ahead.

Anxiety & Depression and Perinatal Mental Health

The journey through Infertility, pregnancy, loss and/or reproductive trauma can leave lasting emotional impact. This can increase vulnerability to anxiety and mood issues during pregnancy and postpartum. This can lead to Post partum anxiety and/or Post partum depression.  Specialized care in this area provides evidence based, trauma informed support to help individuals, couples and families manage symptoms, strengthen coping strategies, and help promote emotional and attachment focused well being throughout the perinatal journey.

“Sadness does not mean something is broken that needs to be fixed. It means something important to you has been lost, and you have to identify what it is.”
